Read Pitt County Release Results

A missing result has several possible causes. Spelling, an agency transfer, delayed updates, changing retention, or selection of the wrong state can all matter. NC SAVAN Connects Pitt Custody
NC SAVAN is more than a second name for a state-prison alert. North Carolina policy D.0900 links prison notification events to the state database and expressly says county jails also use SAVAN. For Pitt County, that creates one notification doorway across two levels of custody. It does not merge those databases. Pitt County Detention Center still owns its county event, and NCDAC still owns its prison or supervision event.

The distinction matters when a person moves from PCDC to a state prison. One interface may show events from both agencies at different times, but the county departure is not the state release. The same is true in reverse. An actual NCDAC release to Pitt County can occur from a prison outside Pitt. That release county is a recorded destination, not the prison or conviction county.
